Google Certification: AdWords, Analytics & Shopping #CreatosMedia

Creatos Media, certified: AdWords, Analytics and Shopping

To begin with I will explain what each certificate means and how it can be used to help other business or your own professional career.

AdWords certificate from Google:

Definition of Google AdWords is an "advertising service by Google for businesses wanting to display ads on Google and its advertising network. The AdWords program enables businesses to set a budget for advertising and only pay when people click the ads. The ad service is largely focused on keywords." Google AdWords knowledge learned from the course can be helpful to other similar advertising models like Bing and Yahoo ad services where we base our advertising on our keywords. Learning to use appropriate keywords for your business, website, professional profile is a key to reach the right customers for you. Use of keyword that are irrelevant to your marketing sector can work negatively on your business and just be a waste of money.

Let's talk about what AdWords model is based on. The marketing model is called Cost-Per-Click or just PPC (price per click) as the name suggests, we are been charged when the keyword that we are paying for has lead anybody to your website, blog or any other online platform we have implemented the campaign for. AdWords are been by start-ups, small, medium and huge companies. To reach our online audience we need to use every available tool there is. PPC is based on paid platform which will gain us a leads, impressions and conversions which are the main elements building our revenue.

Attract more customers
Whether you’re looking to bring in new website visitors, grow online sales, get the phones ringing or keep customers coming back for more, Google AdWords can help.

Reach the right people at the right time
Your business gets found by people on Google precisely when they're searching for the things that you offer.

Advertise locally or globally
Target your ads to customers in certain countries, regions or cities – or within a set distance from your business or shop.

Google Fundamentals and Shopping Certificate:

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a awesome tool to keep a track of data. To be able to understand all available data google Analytics is one of the courses to learn how to measure impressions, conversions, revenue and much more. Also how to set up appropriate goals relevant to your business and track if we are reaching our set goals. Understanding data in business has become significantly important  , sometimes even more than actual product. Largest companies primary task is to analyze and improve data they produce, collect and convert. With your own data you can improve search both organic and paid (PPC). Furthermore understanding of analytic I find very useful in observing SEO and customer trends. Building history about our business is very important and can not be ignored.

Quick definition of Google Analytics:

"Google Analytics is a free Web analytics service that provides statistics and basic analytical tools for search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing purposes. The service is available to anyone with a Google account. Google bought Urchin Software Corporation in April 2005 and used that company’s Urchin on Demand product as the basis for its current service."

Understanding of Google analytics can help in other services like Bing and Yahoo analytics. Also if we are in any affiliate program or just want to track our social media channels data, knowledge of analytic is important as we are able to distinguish relevant elements which could improve our business and marketing understanding of our sector.
